a good old friend gets a new job
Aside from its’ well known pluses, I discovered something new. I have a big problem with Acid-Reflux, It will wake me at night and the back of my mouth and upper throat are on fire from the acid. Every other treatment is made to go in the stomach. I was awakened few nights ago, in agony. I got up to gargle and rinse with cold water, and had an idea. I dropped 2 alka seltzer’s in 1/2 glass of cold water, when the fizz was just ending I used the content for a gargle and rinse. Just like that my problem was over and done; but for good measure I fixed another glass of AS and drank it down.
I will never be with out it again, thts a promise.

Immediate response for upset stomach and heartburn
I’ve used Alka seltzer for years when a quick response is needed. I watched my father treat his heartbeat and upset stomach with the original alka seltzer and fortunately it helps when nothing else works especially when you want relief immediately. It also helps with a headache.

These are my favorite antacids. They are my go to. If you can find the extra strength ones in original flavor, I recommend those even more. These guarantee to help me feel better after overindulging or really bad reflux such as waking up in the middle of the night feeling really sick, this is great for that. You let it fizz in 4-8oz of water. Drink it, let it work. You’ll find that you have the urge to burp. Do it and you will get great relief, and start to feel much better within 5 minutes. It really works. It just tastes like salty carbonated water. These contain aspirin so you can take out reflux and a headache both at once. Great to have on hand if you get frequent bad reflux.

I’m nearly 75, and I’ve used it all my life, and I’ve never been disappointed in its effects.
When my tummy is upset and I’m feeling achey and just generally under the weather, I pop 2 Alka Seltzers in about 6-8 ounces of water and drink it down. Within minutes I always feel hugely better.
Sometimes the old remedies are the best!
