Gentle and Effective
I have oily skin and I love this cleanser. It is gentle enough to not dry out my skin or irritate it, and it effectively cleans makeup, dirt and oil from my face. I love that I can put it around my eyes and it removes my eye makeup beautifully. I sincerely hope Aveeno keeps this in their lineup because I am loyal to this product. Sometimes, foaming products can be harsh, but this is gentle and effective.

Great for Sensitive Skin
I love this face wash. I have very sensitive skin and this seems to not only control the oiliness, but do so while not drying my face completely out. I feel like the redness has definitely toned down since using it (which has only been about a week)!

Just like the old version of the calming wash
I have used the original Aveno calming wash for like 18-20 years and when they stopped making it, I freaked out. But I think this works as well. None of it ever actually calmed my skin, but it didn’t irritate it, which was a win. This doesn’t irritate my skin at all ether.

This particular Aveeno product is my absolute favorite facial cleanser for completely removing makeup and just overall feeling skin completely fresh and bare, without harsh over-drying or causing redness. It pumps into a creamy foam whose texture is perfect for cleaning sensitive face skin thoroughly. There is a very very light natural scent, almost none at all. I don’t use it every single day as my skin has become even more sensitive with age; however, when I don’t have time for a multi-step skincare routine or when I’m out of town on work, or just plain out tired, this is my go-to. It routinely removes ALL my make up without leaving a trace, and I can literally apply directly to my eyeballs without a sense of irritation. While not wholly vegan or organic this product is a very good choice among others for lack of “bad chemicals”. Try it! You’ll end up loving it as I do!

Not as good as the ultra calming
This soap doesn’t clean my eye makeup off as well as the ultra calming, but it is a close 2nd. I have to use the aveeno face cleaning pads that come in a jar to remove all my super stay makeup. The ultra calming removed my makeup with just my hands and gentle rubbing. It also never irritated my eyes. I wish there was a cleaner that removed it all without irritation to my eyes.

Love this stuff
For the first time I was able to control my rosacea without spending $100’s of dollars ! I love this moisturizer and face wash . For the first time in years my face looks normal! And I didn’t have to spend $100’s a month to achieve that. I have seriously sensitive skin and this not only helped my rosacea but my skin is now smooth and healthy looking .

well, i just bought my 2nd bottle
so i guess this stuff is working… i mean i am not entirely sure of its claim to reduce redness… but it is gentle on my sensitive skin: my face feels fine during use and after using it %26 that is my most important goal. i also really really appreciate that it is actually fragrance free (no masking fragrance either)!
