My favorite self-tanner!
This lotion is my go-to for enhancing a natural tan. It blends nicely, especially when applied 50/50 with regular lotion in hand. The glow is natural, and I rarely see any hint of orange. The scent of this self-tanning lotion is very mild, and when used sparingly, the scent disappears within an hour. Honestly, it’s my favorite!

You’ll literally “flip” for Banana Boat Self Tanning Lotion…..especially if you’re as fair skinned as me with skin as white as the Michigan snow…I was tired of looking like a ghost so I decided to give this a try and the results were wonderful and was the results I was wanting and hoping for. It does take a few hours before the color to appear that is why I decided not to over do it with the application of the product on my first try. It made my face look healthy and radiant and the shade and color of the tan was absolutely perfect-not too dark and not too light-amazingly perfect! Definitely this Banana Boat Self Tanning Lotion is a must have….sunshine in a bottle….so who needs sun with Banana Boat around? In fact I like it so much that if I could I would give it 10 Stars instead of 5 Stars! Highly recommend to everyone-to one and to all!

I have used expensive name brand self tanners, but Banana Boat Dark gives me a warm sun kissed look all year round at a fraction of the cost. I’ve used it for almost 20 years. It works!

The Best Ever!
I bought this after reading other reviews. I have dumped big money on self tanners only to find this is the best of the best. And just look at the affordable price! I used surgical gloves to apply. This is the sort of tanner you apply and can go to work the next day and not have everyone know what you did last night. It subtle enough to not make HUGE changes, but deep enough to make you happy. If you want more color, simply apply it again. No weird orange, just a nice deep color. This color is for people who want a dark tan. I already have olive skin so if you are fair, go for a different color. All tanners smell after so many hours, and this one took a long time before that smell came out. It wasn’t overly strong. This is my new tanner. I came back to order more and wanted to add another 5 star review.

Great Results!
I put this on every other day right after my shower. Even my sister thought I had been laying out for sun or that I had been to a tanning bed! The lotion will stain your palms from putting it on so I put a few teaspoons of sugar in one hand then lather up some soap in the other. Then put your hands together and wash. Your hands are nice and soft AND stain free. I highly recommend this product!

I have been using this product for many years. I’ve always been pleased with it. My results are a natural tan/glow versus turning orange.
You have to be mindful when apply to certain areas, knees, elbows. Always wash your palms.

Great tanner
I really like this tanner-it really adds color quickly and doesnt look streaky like some…and dont turn ur hands orange after applying if u wash them right away! Great for the price

Most affordable good quality self tanner
This is the most affordable self tanner I have been able to find. It’s not the most non-toxic but unless you use it constantly, I find it to be one of my beauty staples to keep on-hand to apply a few days before an event. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t turn skin orange!

Banana Boat Tanning lotion does what it says. You do have to be careful to apply it evenly and not use too much. It does come off on your towels after bathing, but it comes out in the wash. It does have a nice color and not orange. It is comparable to all the other self-tanning lotions.
