Smart Move with the Included Icing
I’ve always enjoyed this lemon poppy seed mix but now, it is absolutely fantastic with the included icing packet. I bake this in a fiesta ware loaf pan for about 30 to 35 minutes on 375. If I bake it in a cast iron loaf pan, I bake it on 350 for about the same amount of time. It comes out fluffy and moist. The mix is very simple with not much needed other than water, eggs, and vegetable oil (I use canola some times). The icing packet is complete in that all you do is snip off a corner and drizzle. Really tasty while warm but great cold too.

Needed this mix for my Dad and they are really hard to find. Walmart had the absolute best price and they arrived quickly.

Not too sweet, slightly crunchy muffin top when baked. I do not use the streusel topping. Available only at Walmart – no other local store carries it. Family favorite.
