Chocolate Meal Substitute — Delicious!
This is the first time I’ve tried this product. Was searching for a meal-replacement. I found this to be better than expected: just add it to skim milk & stir; very chocolaty & delicious; satisfied my chocolate cravings; was not hungry for several hours; feel that I’ve received vitamins as described on label. I must admit, I’m crash-dieting for 3 days only and used this product to help me reach my goal, which I did, by having nothing else but these drinks. I have a problem with water-retention and swelling feet. This product brought my swelling all the way down in just 2 1/2 days, as I hoped it would. Yes, I highly recommend this product. Two tips if you’re on a diet: Don’t skimp on the amount of powder per cup of skim milk (6 tablespoons)–it’s needed to be long-lasting; and drink it BEFORE you get too hungry and it will satisfy your hunger and any cravings and you will be less likely to be tempted by foods you shouldn’t be eating. I sipped one all day in addition to having 2 or 3 whole servings. With skim milk, each serving is 220 calories. Found it easier to use than expensive diet meals which seem to leave me still hungry and unsatisfied. I’m going to keep it in my pantry at all times. I give it 5 stars!

Carnation breakfast great walmart packing bad
the carnation breakfast essentials is great, i use it all the time , my issue like others as i see now is that the way walmart puts them in the shipping boxes. I purchased 4(2packs)If they stand them up there is no problem(6 were), but they lay two on down and the tops of these two caught on the other items in the carton and their lid come off and the aluminum sealing the box get broken, so i lost two boxes(one still 1/4 full and the other 1/2 full) as they spilled into the carton and also outside the packing carton. not going to use as they might be contaminated or insects might be in them

Good stuff!
This is a great product. I have been using it for years. Generally buy it in a Walmart store. However, when I found out that I could buy it online, I ordered ten packages.
They mailed it in two packages: one with two units and the other with eight units. The package with 2 units arrived in great shape. However, the package with 8 units was NOT packaged very well and one of the units came open and spilled all over the inside of the box and the other units. There was no packaging material in the box; only the units themselves. That allowed them to be loose. I had to return the big box. Probably won’t do that again.

My mother bought me this when I was a kid, but it used to be called Carnation Instant Breakfast. My son came back from his friend’s house and told me that I have to buy Carnation Breakfast Essentials for him. He said it was new on the market. I explained to him that it had been around for many years and they just changed the name. He loves it just as much as I did when I was young.

Great product, lousy packaging
Great price, can’t find this in our small town. However, really poor job of packaging. Tops came off all 6 boxes and seal came off one – imagine the mess in the box.

Watch out for the dodgy lid!
I use it to supplement my diet. I’m physically limited. I prep meals and beverages on a setup near my good chair. Chocolate mix is quite tasty and filling. 6 Tablespoons is basically 1/3 Cup FYI. My issue the LID is not very secure. My container fell over and I lost drink powder. After the silver-colored seal is removed watch out. I will now use other means to contain it.

SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN GOING TO YOUR LOCAL GROCERY
I am using this instead of things like Slimfast and other similar drinks. When I went to look for this exact thing at my local store they wanted $8.99 for this!! And here it was $5.28. This came super fast I was so surprised
