cheapo chocolate is better than others
I have health troubles where i have to have sugar or i actually start feeling sick. i grab these, they are not bad. i like milk chocolate and hate bitter. I’ve noticed milk chocolate tasting more and more bitter over the years. i went into investigation why and found out they use bitter tasting preservatives and they also never clean the machines from batch to batch causing more bitter flavoring and they increased this every year. This candy is less bitter and it used to be the more bitter one in the 80s and 90s but now that they’ve destroyed the others this is unfortunately as good as cheap chocolate gets. In the late 90s to early 2000 they little by little started ruining milk chocolate with bitter tastes, around 2005 they started trying to make it cool and healthy to eat bitter chocolate when it was really about them wanting to save money to hide bitter preservatives stop using real sugar and sell older produce that stayed longer on shelves.
dark chocolate didn’t have to taste bitter but America is so unaware of what it can taste like they just accept the sub par tastes and consume whatever is popular which is killing good chocolate.
