my dermatologist recommended this
when I’m stressed, i get psoriasis on my scalp and it gets really dry and bumpy.
I was told to use this daily until i felt the dry begin to subside, then use every other day.
I did this but it never fully cleared up so my Dr. told me to shampoo but not you rinse and let it rest in my scalp for a few hours or over night and then rinse and condition with a moisturizing conditioner.
The over night worked and it’s cleared.
i still use this at least 2x a week and will, if it comes back, repeat as my Dr. instructed.
the Equate Moisturizing Conditioner is incredible too and that i use everyday and also leave on for a few hours before rinsing it out

Great product
Have used it for years. Works just as well as my prescription shampoo. I have to use it everyday to keep the itch down and it is not harsh on my hair.

Effective, yet gentle
Was surprised at how well the conditioner works, even though the active ingredient is “salicylic acid,” an acid. Is a concentrated formula, so a limited amount goes farther than most shampoos. Wal-Mart has the best price.

this two in one is great as a facial exfoliating cleanser better than Neutrogena or equate because salicylic acid is 3% not two. it has great conditionung agents and works as body wash substitute for sweating and acne. us as a shampoo it clarifies plus removes residue prepping it for color services and heat styling. fresh squeaky clean care all in one product.

the only thing that works for me, even not having confirmed psoriasis diagnosis but dermatologist saying its sebbhoratic dermatitis but the prescription ahampoo didnt work so i just pucked this up to try and it works better than anything ive ever tried for me and my family to descale the thick dry skin and even seems like it breaks down the removed build up and dead dry skin so it doesnt just remove it, its also doesnt stick in the rest of your hair like the other dandruff shampoos do

I have been using this shampoo for about a year now. It has definitely improved the condition of my scalp and the scales from psoriasis. I would recommend giving it a try if you have psoriasis or an itchy scalp.

Terrific shampoo %26 conditioner!
Terrific shampoo %26 conditioner, even if you don’t have psoriasis. Helps with itching and symptoms (but doesnt cure it — psoriasis is caused by inflammation in the body). Also smells good! My only two complaints: Cost and need a larger bottle!

Bit disappointed, will give it more of a chance
I’ve used this once so far and I left it on throughout my entire shower then rinsed it off. My hair was squeaky clean so I don’t believe that there’s any conditioner in the mix. That’s disappointing! My head didn’t itch at all that day/night but the itch was back the following afternoon. I have extremely dry hair so washing my hair daily is not an option for me.
