LOVELY SOAP
A lovely soap with great fragrance. Very nice to use. As with all Dove soaps, it’s easy on the skin. I enjoy using it. Also, as with all Dove soaps, it is important to leave it dry, not sitting in a puddle, as it dissolves easily. Which is a plus when using, but not if carelessly left in sitting water.

So Moisturizing %26 Smells Divine
The Dove Shea Butter bar soap is so moisturizing for this cold winter season and the smell is divine. My skin gets so dry and flakey during the winter, but when I use this soap followed by lotion, my skin stays moisturized throughout the day into the evening. The smell is great and lingers a bit. I wish it lingered even longer. I even recommended it to others.

Dove – Best Bar Soap
When I need a gentle but effective bar soap, Dove is the only brand I will buy. It cleans without drying out my skin and it has a light, pleasant scent.

Soft, Moisturized Skin
Love Dove products. This particular soap is great if you love vanilla scents. It leaves your skin soft, silky, and moisturized. It’s more of a warm vanilla sugar scent. I also use the Dove Shea Butter Lotion to moisturize my skin even further. Has gotten a little pricey, but I wouldn’t use another brand for showering.

Clean and Fresh Scent
I have been using Dove products for many years and this is one if my favorites. The scent of the soap is light and fresh and comforting. My husband always comments on how good I smell after my showers, but I know I am clean as well! my very favorite beauty bar!!

A very powdery fragrance.
The fragrance has changed slightly since the last time I used it as a teen. It used to smell more reminiscent of the Queen Helene Cocoa Butter lotion. Like more of a warm nutty vanilla. It still kind of has that vibe, but the powder note is a lot stronger than I remember. It’s more of a clean, soapy, and powdery smell with a hint of that vanilla. It’s not unpleasant, but it definitely used to smell better. One plus is that it still contains actual shea. They removed the cucumber and green tea extract from their green soap and now it just says that it’s “scented” with those things. I’m glad they didn’t cheap out and give this soap the same treatment by removing the beneficial ingredients. They also removed the oatmeal from their oatmeal soap. It no longer has the ingredient that actually calms your skin.

Softer skin
I’ve always liked Dove %26 my dermatologist recommends it so it’s a win, win. I’m 63 %26 have very dry skin, I stopped using loofah’s because it seems to make my dry skin worse. I’ve started using bar soap again in an attempt to lower plastic use, save money %26 hassle dealing with all the bulky plastic containers. I love this scent too, it’s fresh %26 gives beachy vibes. I know unscented is the best way to go but I just can’t. I have to have scent %26 so far, every scent I’ve tried I’ve really liked.
