Prefer GV over Lipton
I admit I was surprised. I have been using Lipton brand cold brew, but it was unavailable. Decided to try Great Value cold brew. Very greatly surprised!! Found that I like GV more than Lipton. Don’t know why, its “just tea bags” but I definitely prefer GV flavor over the Lipton.
I am definitely changing from this point forward!

Excellent Tea
Big drinker of the Lipton cold-brew tea, but it’s sometimes a bit on the pricey side. This is an excellent alternative which brews just as quickly and tastes just as good. Glad we tried it and will certainly reorder.

Perfect iced tea!
I used to make gallons of sun tea every summer. Back in the day we only had small tea bags, and it was kinda a pain. I switched to a name brand premade tea and stayed with that for many years. Covid pushed the price too high, and I gave these a try. I put 3 bags in a recycled tea jug (89oz), fill up with water, and leave it in the fridge overnight. I pull out the bags in the morning, and I have tea for 2-3 days (I drink a lot of iced tea in hot weather). This tea has perfect flavor, no bitterness, and is easy to make. My taste is best if you leave the bags in 8 hours, but the color and flavor do develop pretty quickly. Tastes just like the sun tea I used to make. This is a summertime staple!

Smooth full bodied black tea!!
Full bodied flavor. I tried Lipton Cold Brew many years ago. It was my first experience with cold brewed tea. Even after an hour of brewing, it was only tinted water. If it’s improved, I wouldn’t know. I moved on to Luzianne and never looked back. It too took an hour or so to brew but even if I forgot about it and came back three hours later it always tasted great, never bitter.
Maybe this cold brew is made by Luzianne, my Walmart no longer carries it. So when I was forced to try this brand, I was thrilled that it too tastes great. Who knows, maybe it’s the same. I love, love, love the taste and convenience of this cold brew black tea.

I’d give this more stars, if I could!
Before, all you had for “cold brew” tea was Lipton, then a few other brands came out with their version. I tried them, if they were cheaper, but the taste wasn’t my preference and went back to Lipton. THIS has the same taste, same instructions, and much cheaper! Love it! I only wish our store wouldn’t occasionally run out, forcing me to buy a pack of Lipton in hopes that I’m a couple weeks they’ll have the generic stocked.
