    Smooth, Refreshing, and Affordable
The Great Value Green Tea Bags are a great budget-friendly option for daily tea drinkers! The flavor is smooth and mild, with just the right amount of natural green tea taste—not too bitter. The bags steep quickly and work well for both hot and iced tea. For the price, you get 40 bags, making this an excellent deal compared to name brands. Will definitely repurchase!

Great bargain for the amount of servings and taste
Tastes good for teabags. This isn’t really green tea like sencha or matcha. Granted in the US it’s very hard to get those kinds of teas fresh and it isn’t good to bag those. I like to steep this for about 20 minutes and add a bit of stevia as it can be a little bitter given that’s way over the time recommended. With the stevia it taste great, a very good combination. That said, it taste pretty decent with just hot water and the tea bags steeped for 3 to 4 minutes.

    its alright…..
I believe the film citric acid creates… is more of an gelatin then acid… what is all that extra bit for??
its an good product (the tea)with asorbic/citric acid(msg) additived(not listed but is present on product ). They also have a priming staple on the bag(heat charged?) . if you notice the higher zoom in images, its dusty apperance is a acrylic sheen to it under blacklight.

Id rather they just throw tea without the pouches in a airtight bag, with no additive. maybe a few disposable pouches/ cheese cloth seeper… crimp the string on there get rid of toxic pfe metal staple on tea pouch!

  4. Fizzy

    Good. Green tea
This green tea is Sri Lanka style, and totally different from Japanese green tea. The flavor is close to Bigelow or Lipton, with a touch of Oolong. Even though I do prefer other brands for my daily tea ritual, but this tea is not bad for occasional stand-in. You might want to try ice tea version if you don’t like the flavor. These are not foil sealed, and won’t survive more than a few months in your pantry (they will lose flavors and absorb other smells).
