Better for you than artificial
I find the taste very much like sugar with getting the calories and better tasting than Equal or Splenda with anything artificial. I would recommend this to any in my family or any of my friends. It helps me cut my sugar intake which is a good thing but still have the sweetness in my coffee and tea.

Great Value No Calorie Stevia, 9.8oz
They said my A1C was high, but I think it is them that is high. They only tested my glucose once. It was 89. That is dreamy. I decided to go ahead and incorporate Stevia and Allulose into my diet instead of constant sugar in my 2-3 pots of coffee per day. GV Stevia is not at all bad. No bad after taste. Good price. It does seem like it makes you dry in your mouth and throat, though, like allulose does, too. Could be my imagination. I don’t know. Anyway, it will be part of my diet from now on as it is not revolting.

Less expensive but with tradeoffs
Compared to Truvia, this is certainly less expensive. It seems to be a finer granule, which is ok, but there is some “smoke” powder wafting up each time you use it. It might be slightly less sweet but that’s not a big deal (unless you use so much more that the cost difference is eliminated). It lists a serving size of 3/4 teaspoon where Truvia shows 1/2. I think I detect more of a vanilla taste and smell than Truvia has. The ingredients list reads “erythritol, dextrose with maltodextrin , rebiana (stevia leaf extract), natural flavors” compared with Truvia “erythritol, stevia leaf extract, natural flavors” so they’re somewhat different. It’s worth a try, you might not think these things are significant.

I bought this thinking I was getting a great price for more of the GV granulated Stevia. However, it only has 80 servings per container compared to 550 servings in the GV Granulated Stevia. It also has additional ingredients that are not to my liking. I am returning it the store today.

As good as name brand
This is just as good as Truvia and costs less. I like this container. I keep a tiny spoon inside and can easily dip out a small amount for my coffee or tea. I can reuse the container when it’s empty or the lid can fit my canning jars. Stevia is a better alternative than other sweeteners and it is natural.
Anyway I am happy with this product. We use a lot of Great Value products in our household and have been very satisfied with the quality and price.
