Chocolate is good for you, says my doc.
Ive read medical articles about the nutritional value of chocolate.. This has no sugar. Its not a candy bar. I put mine in the freezer for 30 min, then using a sharp knife I divide it into about 30 small pieces. I then store these tidbits in a small jar in my freezer. Every morning I make myself 1 large mug of coffee with milk, 1 tsp sugar and 1 bit of chocolate. The chocolate melts in the hot coffee. I use such a small amt that I dont even taste chocolate. .

The best chocolate for the connoisseur
This unsweetened chocolate is delicious eaten as is. Oh my, it tastes so good. I am a chocolate connoisseur and this chocolate is not only the most affordable but so delicious you do not need to sweeten it.

Perfect for cutting out refined sugar!
Perfect for keto diet or anyone trying to avoid sugar. I just sweeten it with some honey to my own taste. Much better than getting the ones with stevia and sugar alcohols. Just wish it came in chocolate chip form

    Great chocolate!
This tastes as good as any unsweetened dark chocolate that I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve tried a lot of them. (I eat three squares per day, four on Sunday). The price is reasonable. My only complaint is that it’s not readily available. I’m almost out, and it’s been out of stock for about a week, online. I’ve been to a local Walmart four times, and it wasn’t on the shelves.

    Good price for good product
I never have a problem using this. If you microwave chocolate, you will scorch it if you let it go too long. You must do it in increments, and stir after EACH time. Once there is small chunks, you should be able to stir them smooth. Nuking it until it is smooth will scorch it.

Great Value vs Baker’s 100% Cacao Chocolate Bar
Every day, I regularly eat 1 ounce of Baker’s Unsweetened 100% Cacao Chocolate Bar. When I saw that Great Value had come out with a similar 100% Cacao Chocolate Bar, I decided to try them both at the same time to see if there is any difference since I usually prefer Great Value products. I bought 2 bars of Baker’s and 2 bars of Great Value and tested them equally each day, over the next week.

I like the thinness of Great Value and the size of each square better than Baker’s; however, I do not like the taste as much as I do Baker’s. I checked the ingredients lists to determine why. The reason? Baker’s Ingredients: Chocolate. Great Value Ingredients: Chocolate liquor.

It all comes down to personal taste. Some people may not notice the difference in taste, especially if used for baking. I notice it because I eat it straight from the package.

It is worth trying both since the difference in taste is not offensive.
