Middle aged male approved.
Okay, so I am a middle aged male who in mid life crisis decided to run a marathon. Let me provide more context. I’m not a fit middle aged guy who is in shape and thought I’d run a bit longer. I’m the guy that you cannot tell if he’s 80 or 30 and not in a good way. But I do set goals and at around 50 and fresh after getting my MBA decided to run a marathon.
So I started “training” with a buddy. Another friend who happens to be an honest to goodness medical doctor talked to me about my training and I said I just go for a jog and drink water.
He highly encouraged me to drink something other than water.
So I got some of this. And I’m still here.
I haven’t died. I haven’t had other symptoms that include things that may get filtered from my comments.
I’m currently running 15 miles in about 4 hours. Go ahead and laugh, but I’m out there trying. And this stuff may or may not be helping. But it tastes good. I’m still alive and for a 50 ish year old guy, that’s not too shabby.
Now about the shoes that I’m wearing that have holes in them….

I really like this. I have POTS and I use these tablets to stay hydrated . The flavor is good. They dissolve completely and they’re easy to use. I like them and I’ll definitely buy them again. I wish more flavors were available.

good nuun alternative
I used to be a big fan of Nuun tablets. unfortunately, most of their flavors are not EBT eligible except for the lemon lime. I decided to try this as an alternative. Not only is it a good price, but it also has 12 tablets in the tube instead of 10. the flavor was crisp, fruity, and not overbearing. it was an interesting change from my usual electrolyte brands and flavors. some of the tablets were partially broken inside the tube when i received them, and it is annoying to have to break the tablet in half to fit in a plastic water bottle. but I’d say this is a good brand, especially if you’re on a budget.
