pretty decent meal,add some veg
as far as a shelf stable food, it is pretty good. you get a really nice portion, mashed potatoes are abundant. the meat isnt bad, gravy the same I added butter, canned corn and green beans. It easily fed two kids or one adult.

First try: very good! Have just ordered a 6-pak!
I like this easy to fix meal that I tried for the first time. Only 300 calories yet 15 grams of protein. The meat has body yet is tender (thankfully no bone chips.) Gravy and potatoes are the exact amount for the meatloaf. Very filling though it doesn’t look that large. The taste is a tiny bit sweet, and there is a pleasant peppery and mushroom flavor. I just ordered a 6-pak for my next curbside order which is quite a savings over the individual serving.

Easy to make, tastes good
Easy to make (just 1 minute in the microwave) for those times when I’m too busy or too tired to make something from scratch. Better than some of the frozen entrees, but these don’t need refrigeration. The mashed potatoes are a good thick density, not the translucent running “stuff” found in many frozen dinner entrees.

Tastes good
The meatloaf is one of the brown Compleats. I eat so many Compleats I call them by color, the browns are brown gravy based, meatloaf, Salisbury steak, beef tips, etc. The white ones are cream gravy based, chicken penne, chicken and mashed potatoes, etc. The red ones are tomato sauce based, spaghetti, chili, lasagna, etc.
Each group tastes very similar within it’s group. The only difference is consistency based on type of pasta or potatoes and meat. This is not haute cuisine folks, it’s warmth on a cold day, ease when you don’t feel like cooking and as reliable as the rising sun.
Enjoy.

Love these
These are so quick and easy, and the taste to me is like “comfort food”. They are great. The portion size seems small but I find them completely satisfying.
The food is packed edge to edge in these, so be careful when you go to eat them or stir them or cut up the meat that you don’t spill over the edge. Best to empty the contents into another bowl.
I also find that I always add salt and sometimes pepper to these although they already have a lot of sodium content. Just think it tastes better.
Never found a quicker, easier microwave meal to prepare than these.

Satisfied
These are great.
Not enough time or just too darn tired to cook, the right
size for a quick meal ready in a minute. Mighty tasty too.
The only down side for me that is, is the sodium levels. Could be a bit lower.
Have already ordered more. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Compleats are good meals. I wished they were a little larger and had vegys. Since we add the vegetables, it does make them enough for a normal adult. My favorite is chicken Alfredo but so far I haven’t met one I did not like. For an elder it is simple and to prepare and should fill them up well. Also good for a quick snack for a teen on their own. I like being able to purchase them in bulk in case the weather is bad and I have nothing for a decent meal. They are very easy to store as they are all the same size and fit neatly in not much space. I think they are decently priced but at the top end of what I would pay.
