Flavor Perfection!
The taco seasoning is sensational. Before trying this one I always assumed all taco seasoning packets were made equal, but I literally had to “eat” those words. This one is above & beyond. It’s more complex (definitely in a good way!) in spices and flavor, but not in an elite foodie way, it’s more of an authentic taste, if that makes sense. It cooks up really evenly & smooth unlike others that seem difficult to cook down or dissolve, leaving lumps. You’re not limited to tacos when you use this seasoning! I like to mix it into hamburger meat before I make patties for fiesta burgers. It’s also great used in Mexican beef & cheese dip.

Made this yesterday for my daughter. She loved it, and she’s a very picky eater, will definitely buy this product again and again! I used very lean ground beef and drained it well, the flavor really popped, and it did not taste too salty, unlike other brands.

Taco Seasoning is Universal!
Have you ever tried taco seasoning on things other than meat? McCormick’s Taco Seasoning is the perfect combination of spices and flavor and pairs PERFECTLY with other options. My favorite is over popcorn or tortilla chips. You can add a lot or a little, depending on how strong you’d like the flavor. This is the only taco seasoning we buy in our house! It is so full of flavor and each and every spice is noticeable and complimentary to the next. The taco seasoning was a perfect amount os spice and zest on a spicy summer day. with sides of veggies and cheese.
TH marinade lead to some excellent grilled chicken It had a perfect slightly itailian flavor.
The mustard worked well on a summer nice and cool turkey sandwich in the shade.

I’ve been using McCormick Original Taco Seasoning Mix for about twenty years with my homemade beef tacos. If I use very low fat ground beef or ground sirloin thereis no need to drain off fat from the frying process and I’ll add McCormick Original Taco Seasoning directly for wonderful tasting tacos.

We enjoyed the McCormick Taco Seasoning Mix. It was my first time trying it as we typically buy a different brand. I was glad to receive this to taste and review. We browned 1 pound of ground beef and flavored it with this seasoning for Taco Tuesday. The seasoning has the perfect amount of flavor, not too overpowering nor salty. We make these type of tacos a couple times per month in my house because my kids love them. They liked the tacos prepared with this seasoning and they didn’t complain. I will now be purchasing this more often.
