Near East Rice Pilaf Mix is Kosher Certified. Near East Rice Pilaf, Original, is a delicious rice from a company that’s been around many years. This formula is quick and easy to cook. Simply add the ingredients to a saucepan, bring to a boil, and allow to simmer, covered. It can be eaten alone as a side dish or mixed into many different recipes such as casseroles, for additional flavor, fiver, protein, and health benefits. Each box contains 6.5 oz of kosher rice. We love this rice and have purchased it and used it for several years now. I CANNOT understand why we cannot get it at our local Walmart Store. It is one rice product that has no bad ingredients, like so many rice products do. PLEASE PUT IT BACK ON THE SHELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I can buy knorr rice for $ 1.00, and I do, but I always get the nor east rice pilaf even thought it’s twice as much because it is unreal how good this rice is!

We love, love, love this rice mix……..ready in a few short minutes. Boil water, add a dab butter, salt and pepper or some spice you like (or not) and rolling boil – turn off – let sit briefly – fluff it up – serve MMMMMMM

I LOVE this rice. I cant find it in grocery stores any more so I order multiple packages from Walmart. Com. That way I have it on hand when I need it for a meal.

Ordered these with a few other items that were canned goods. Came in a very large box and little stuffing to keep contents from shifting around. One of the rice boxes got beat up fairly well.
