I love Carnation Malted Milk Powder! It has the same nutty and delicious flavor I remember from childhood. I especially love it in my homemade milkshakes, but a couple of years ago, I was visiting a friend in North Carolina, and he put some into the pancake batter. BAYBEE! YUMMY 😋 I love 😍 this Malted Milk Powder! I put it in my coffee with Hot Cocoa Mix and it is delicious. My ultimate favorite is a Chocolate Malt Shake. Blend 2 scoops of Chocolate or Vanilla (add Chocolate syrup) Ice Cream and 2 tbs of Malt Powder justtil mixed. You want it nice and thick, then add a half cup of milk and blend a lil more to desired thickness. You’re welcome 😊

I ordered one jar of this malted barley powder and the stuff is just so delicious I can eat it in powdered form straight from a spoon. It tastes like malted milk candy without the chocolate. I tried 3 Tbsp. of it with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, vanilla extract, and 8 oz. milk placed in a blender on high, and that was delicious as well for a milkshake. So now I am back to buy an entire case of it, as a 13 oz. jar doesn’t last long at all. This is one of those products you never want to run out of in your pantry. Barley is good for you. It’s one of those superfoods that you can tell a difference in your energy levels and vitality when you eat it. Barley flakes are another good product to cook in chicken or beef broth and eaten for breakfast or as a side dish or snack. By not cooking whole grains in water and using chicken or beef broth, it gives them great flavor. Barley is something people need to eat more of daily when they need more energy or vitality for life. Grape Nuts cereal is also made from barley, which is a whole grain. Try cooking oats in broths as well and use them for a side dish in a savory form.

Mix 4 large spoons with a little (1-2Tab) of milk…. and dissolve really good… then mix in lots of vanilla icecream….. it is the best malt you will ever indulge in…. and they are so expensive to buy.. quick and easy to do……. happy eating….

This is a classic product by a quality manufacturer. Get that old time flavor, just add one tablespoon malted milk and one tablespoon chocolate syrup to a glass of milk for that olt time malt shop flavor, good stuff.

The Carnation Malted Milk is an excellent close substitute for Horlicks, and Walmart is the place to get it. I think you will enjoy it.
