The story of New England Coffee begins in the Old World, with a family living in Greece. From there, Menelaos Kaloyanides, with his brother George Kaloyanides, came to the United States in 1910. By 1916, Menelaos was running a successful restaurant in Boston, but he wanted to start his own business. So he, along with his brother George and his cousin Megaklis Papadopoulos, founded the New England Tea & Coffee Company. Located at Milk and Broad Streets in Boston, they delivered coffee to restaurants all over the city. Slowly but surely, the company gained a reputation for consistently good coffee and coffee beans. As its reputation grew, so grew the reach of the company’s deliveries and the size of its accounts. While many things have changed over the decades, the commitment to quality has never wavered.

Surprised me with great flavor
I’ve become a fan of this brand – great flavor you can taste as well as smell, but not overwhelming. Tried this Cinnamon Hazelnut on a lark and very pleasantly surprised! One of my (and my nephew’s) favorites now!

Really great flavor
Someone gave us a bag of this awhile back & we loved it. I wanted to buy more & had a heck of a time finding it…..not even on Amazon! I was very pleasantly surprised to see Walmart online had it so I ordered two for Ship to Store!

Great coffee, give it a try!
I absolutely love this coffee! I drink coffee black and the hint of cinnamon and hazelnut flavor is not overpowering and the coffee is very smooth and not bitter. My guests love it as well and always ask “what kind of coffee is this?!” I’d highly recommend giving it a try.

The best of all…
This is great coffee. I’ve tried different brands of cinnamon-hazelnut coffee, they’re pretty good but this is the best, very rich, smooth, mellow. The cinnamon makes it slightly sweet, all without sugar. Wish this came in a 16-oz bag, this bag is too small and I don’t understand the weird size. Dessert in a cup!

I’d recommend that people try this!
I actually disordered this – had never seen it before and misread the label, but as long as it was delivered, I figured I should go ahead and try it once. Turns out, I like it better than my usual brand and will order it again! It’s just right whereas my usual was beginning to taste bitter. A good mistake!

Very flavorful!
Although I would like the coffee to be a little bolder tasting with a lot more Hazelnut and cinnamon, it is one of the better coffee’s I have tried, and will buy this again.

Simple medium roast flavored coffee
This is a pretty good ground coffee. Nothing too impressive, but the hints of cinnamon are nice. I can’t really taste the hazelnut, but maybe that’s just me. I used to get Cameron’s vanilla hazelnut but I’ve had trouble finding it lately. While I still prefer it, this coffee is a decent substitute and it’s way more affordable. There is a bit of an aftertaste and bitterness even when using less than the recommended amount of grounds. Still, not bad in a pinch. Tastes better than a lot of run-of-the-mill popular brands too.
