Good dalt alternative
taste good and it seemed like a good way to get some potassium in me. I would rather have bought a smaller container but I couldn’t find any online and didn’t want to have to drive around from store to store to find it. I used to buy Nu Salt nrand in a little container for about $1 in just about any grocery store. But this will do the job and I can always break it down into smaller shakers..

Pleasantly Surprised
I discovered this by accident, not knowing it existed before coming across it on Walmart’s website. Since I am strongly advised to refrain from using salt, I thought I’d give it a try since most other reviews of it are positive. Some other similar products have very negative reviews. I was very surprised upon trying this, and I’m glad I did as it actually does closely resemble real salt. I’ve already tried it on a number of foods, and I am quite satisfied with it. And I’ll most definitely continue to use it, and will buy more when I need to. For anyone advised by their cardiologist to try and avoid salt, I do recommend this product.

One of my doctors recommended it
This is potassium chloride instead of sodium chloride (table salt), and I can’t tell the difference in taste. It provides potassium (which many of us need), and no sodium (which many of us avoid). I love salt, and I can use as much of this product as I want without harming my body.
I’m on blood pressure medicine, and my doctor is concerned about the lack of potassium caused by the diuretic. This product provides potassium, and has no sodium to raise by blood pressure.
I have used NoSalt for years, and I love it.

I had tried this years ago and never really used it much until, I was told by my doctor’s, to limit my salt intake, and it had to be a drastic reduction.
I couldn’t remember where I had bought it the first time and checked all my local grocery stores to no avail. Then, I thought, why not try Wal-Mart. Sure enough, there it was and I am ever thankful because now, I am at a point where I can no longer have any salt. So, it works perfectly for me.

Does the job at a low cost
This is by far the least expensive salt substitute and yet it tastes exactly like salt. I do believe that you need to use more to completely replicate the the full salt taste, but once you learn to adjust, you likely won’t know the difference. And to state the obvious, it does cut down appreciably on your sodium consumption.

Best price on this in the area
There is no reason to pay more for this, since it is just the potassium version of salt. It is a mineral that has to be refined as it did not occur in oceans to create vast salt deposits, but in the end it should not be expensive.
Also this isn’t the dinky Morton’s portion which frequently is priced higher than this elsewhere.

It works
Wow. We are going low sodium and that is the ‘hardest’ change to any diet hands down. Nothing tastes the same without a little bit of salt. So we are very pleased to have read others reviews and found this No Salt salt substitute. We use all kinds of seasonings and options to give flavor to our food, but we needed a little bit of salt taste sometimes and this one is really fitting the bill. I think we can make it now on low / no sodium from now on thanks to this seasoning. Highly recommend for those who need to have the flavor of salt sometimes.
