Perfect for taco night!

Fast but we need to talk about your flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try to incorporate pulses into my diet frequently and my kids enjoy beans too. The preferred method of consumption is the iconic quesedilla.
The good: as advertised, these heat up quickly and easily making them a great weeknight option. Honestly I have had a mixed experience with pouch style products and I was pleasantly surprised how these delivered. The other really strong benefit is that these have a great nutritional profile with quite a low sodium content, which is very rare for shelf stable beans stored in any kind of liquid.
The bad: OEP went a bit too far w the salt reduction as we found these lacking the necessary saltiness and additionally the overall flavor was too bland. These are supposed to be pre-seasoned for a heat and eat option but the spices need to be dialed up. Where’s my cumin? Cilantro/oregano? Mild chilli? Gimme something!
Overall not a bad option but given I still need to tweak them out of the package I might stick to a cheaper option in canned beans (which are also a bit creamier) 4 stars- very good but needs a few tweaks

Great flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kinda skeptical about a microwave bean product but this wasn’t so bad. I did enjoy the flavor and the addition of corn was great. The spice level was perfect as well. However I wish the beans weren’t as mooshy. I ended up eating them with tortilla chips.
