Dry mouth, or xerostomia, occurs when your mouth isn’t producing enough saliva to keep itself moist. Saliva is necessary to protect your mouth from infection, keep it clean and neutralize acids to help prevent plaque buildup and tooth decay. It’s very common and affects about 20% of people worldwide. Dry mouth can have a significant impact on your health and overall quality of life. It can result in tooth decay, disrupted sleep, a rough, dry tongue, bad breath, difficulty chewing and swallowing, sore cracked lips, dehydration and more. What makes XyliMelts so effective against dry mouth? The key ingredient is xylitol, a naturally sweet carbohydrate found in raspberries, corn, oats, and other plants. Xylitol cannot be digested by the harmful mouth bacteria that cause tooth decay, gum disease, and infections. Plus, when xylitol lingers in the mouth, it stimulates saliva and may reduce the risk of tooth decay. Clinical studies suggest that you can maximize the benefits of xylitol by slowly releasing a continuous concentration of xylitol in your mouth. XyliMelts help solve this problem by utilizing adhering disc technology that releases just the right concentration of xylitol over time—meaning hours of dry mouth relief for you as the disc coats, moisturizes, and increases saliva flow, especially while sleeping when dry mouth is worst. There are several causes of dry mouth and bad breath including, but not limited to: Daily use of medications that cause dry mouth, Cancer treatment, Poor dental health, Illness, disease and their associated medications, Infections of the mouth and respiratory system, External agents, such as food or tobaccos. One of the most common causes of dry mouth and bad breath may be a side effect of taking medication for a variety of conditions.

Smart way to help dry moth at night.
I really like that these can be used at night. Just insert along upper gum line and keeps mouth
moist all night. Great product. I will reorder again.

    Dry Mouth Relief
Works as advertised. I had radiation treatments on my neck, and as a result, I have a dry mouth. This is the first product that helps through the night. The tablets do stick to your teeth or gums till they dissolve. I say, give it a try

  3. Lenny –

Works well with a dental night guard mouthpiece
When I sleep with my dental night guard my mouth can get very dry and sticky. XyliMelts was recommended by my dental hygienist and solves that problem. They seem to last throughout the night.

    Amazing product
Amazing!!! My dental hygienist recommended these to me for dry mouth. My mouth was so dry when I slept, my tongue would stick to the roof of my mouth. I’m sleeping so much better now. Love this product!

  5. WalmartCustomer –

I had difficulty locating this exact product which was recommended by my dentist. I telephoned their office to find out where I could purchase the product. Was happy that I could get it from Walmart. Good price and very efficient about getting the product to me within a few days.

  6. Michelle –

    Better than you can imagine!!
Where have these been?!!! I mean I have seen them before when looking for dry more releaf. With medications and autoimmune diseases my mouth is always dry. Dental bills rise due to the lack of saliva and a high acidic level. In despieration I gave them a try. Now I buy them by the bottle. The disks are small and smooth with a very, very, slight sweetness. place one on your tongue and then move the disk on the gumline over a molar. Mine sits half on the gum and tooth. Just hold the brown side to the gum for 10 seconds and thatsw it. You can move them or take them off with just a nudge of your finger but it will stay in place all night. I can sleep for 6-8 hours and don’t wake up with velcro mouth. Its been years of dry mouth and $$$$ of dental work. This is one of my favorite new findes ever im so excited for my next apt.

  7. Dusty –

This is the only OraCoat I can use bc it is Mint-Free. The other types ‘set my mouth on fire’. And being Slightly Sweet makes it easier to forget it’s there, nice and it works!

  8. Genevieve –

    Works
With my bad allergies and allergy meds, my mouth can get ao dry. One telephone job I had someone recommended them to me and they do help! Awake or asleep. I prefer the slightly sweet than the mint. My only complaints are that the Xylitol is TOXIC TO PETS, so I have to keep them locked away from them. And that sweetners mess with my stomach, so I can’t use too many.
