Kid obsessed!
Back when my oldest daughter had her wisdom teeth taken out and could only eat soft foods, she quickly got tired of jello and mashed potatoes. So I got her this, let it cool, and served her it. 4 years later, she still gravitates to them every so often! Guess they were a hit!

Microwave food cups typically suck, these don’t!!!
Most of us that have tried microwave cups of mac n cheese %26 a few other foods know they’re pretty terrible. The micro just can’t replace boiling noodles, rice, even instant potatoes are pretty crappy. BUT!…I’m really impressed with these! I actually LIKE them…I don’t have to force it down when in a rush %26 hungry…I actually enjoy these! I’ve only tried the cheese so far but plan to try the broccoli n cheese %26 the chicken flavor. If it’s just me for dinner, or an alone lunch, one of these is perfectly fine. I cook them with milk instead of water…I think it’s a tad creamier, but they’re good cooked in water as well. I also add a little dab of real butter…cuz, butter :), %26 sometimes some shredded cheese…not because it NEEDS it, it just adds more flavor %26 a little protein, calcium, etc.
I’ve added leftover baked chicken a few times (yum!), leftover sweet baby peas, broccoli, chopped brussel sprouts…whatever leftover veggies we have…it’s all been good. 3 1/2 min, no more dirty dishes, a full belly, %26 it’s not even close to gross…win win for a quick din din!
(Btw…just an FYI, ‘Velveeta Shells n Cheese’ micro cups are the only ones worth your time. Every other mac n cheese has been just a nasty mess. The texture is awful %26 gummy %26 the taste just sucks! Just my opinion…but don’t waste your time or money on any others.)

My favorite flavor of “Rice a Roni”!
This my very favorite Rice a Roni” product. Several times a week for breakfast I eat this meal that I can make ahead, except for the egg: First I prepare the rice, then I mix a can of re-fried beans mixed with a can of beans (your favorite) into a bowl. In a small dish I spread the bottom with some rice mixture, than add some of the beans mixture on top, pour some taco sauce over the beans and then layer that with shredded cheddar cheese. Heat this in the microwave until cheese melts and then top with a fried egg. Delicious!
