2 varieties of Glacier on walmart
this company updated their recipe for their Glacier electrolyte flavor. this version (the old recipe), and the updated version are both available for purchase on Walmart . both packages look almost exactly the same but they have some distinct key differences:
this version lists monk fruit extract as the sweetener in the ingredients. the other box that has the shiny packaging and looks almost the same, has sucralose for the sweetener.
heres the link for the updated version https://www.walmart.com/ip/TruLabs-Hydrate-Glacier-Hydration-Electrolyte-Powdered-Drink-Mix-16-Sticks/2689363542?wl13=2048%26selectedSellerId=0%26wmlspartner=wlpa%26gStoreCode=2048%26gQT=2
with that being said, this version with the monk fruit extract is pretty good. i noticed a small amount will settle at the bottom of my water bottle after i thought i shook it enough. you’ll need to shake/stir this one a bit extra. the flavor is refreshing, sweet, crisp, and enjoyable. sometimes it tastes a bit too sweet, surprisingly, but it still gets a 5 star from me. im the type that needs to rotate flavors so a certain variety won’t lose its magic, so to speak.
the updated recipe, I’m not going to lie, it does taste better. the level of sweetness is perfect to my tastebuds. it dissolves much faster in water, though it obviously isn’t as healthy.
if you are trying to find an electrolyte brand with healthier sugar alternatives in the ingredients, the new version in the shiny packaging is NOT what you want to buy.
i bought the new version by mistake and was confused as to why it was showing up twice in the walmart app. they’re 2 different verisons of the same brand and flavor. even the price is the same, but this one says “rollback.” check the label thrice before buying.
as another side comment, the price for these is a bargain when compared to liquid IV. Glacier by trulabs is one of my favorite electrolyte flavors and i hope they dont stop making the monkfruit one.
my attached photo shows the monk fruit version on the left, sucralose version on the right.

Ive been using these packets through my pregnancy to stay hydrated and I actually love them!
I was definitely surprised by these electrolyte packets. not only are they super flavorful, they actually taste good. The glacier flavor really does taste like the light blue g-ade.
ontop of all that, the electrolyte and vitamin content is phenomenal. The nutrition facts on these packs are better than any other electrolyte packs in the store.

Gatorade lovers…must try!
I’ve tried many brands of water flavoring and these are supreme. These taste like Gatorade Glacier but are better for you, it’s sweet but not too sweet and definitely quenches your thirst. And I love the fact 16 packs come in a box.

The taste is extremely clean and not overpowering. It rejuvenated me super fast when I was so lethargic. Do not waste your money on Gatorade or Powerade or even Pedialite! RUN %26 BUY NOW!

Rave: Got these for my husbandnwho is 85 yrs old and struggling with dehydration issues even though he basically only drinks water. They seemed to have helped his thirst issues and he is drinking more due to liking the taste.
Rant: they are spendy for someone on a limited income.

Kid approved
My kids really liked these and they seem better than some of the popular ones out there.
