I make grilled cheese sandwiches with this bread
I make homemade grilled cheese sandwiches with this bread, and they turn out perfect! It gets crispy in the melted butter in the frying pan, whereas when softer bread is used this way in the butter it can sometimes get soggy. Per Google Search, here are some other uses also for sliced Italian bread: “Sliced Italian bread can be used for a variety of dishes, including making sandwiches, bruschetta (toasted slices with toppings like tomatoes and basil), garlic bread, croutons, bread bowls, dipping bread, soaking up sauce, adding to soups and stews, and as a base for open-faced sandwiches with various toppings like cheese, meats, and vegetables.”

Best Bread in Florida for Crisping Up
This is my favorite bread I can find in Florida. Like another reviewer said it is awesome for making good crispy toast and grilled cheeses. All the others breads I’ve tried in Florida just don’t get crispy. I would like to comment on how almost every negative review here is because of their bread getting squashed by the delivery person or other factors that have nothing to do with the quality of the product which is the reason it has such low rating. I wish people understood that they should be rating the Walmart delivery service negatively because of those types of problems not the products. It is making a good product seem bad. Walmart should delete these reviews that have nothing to do with the actual product IMO.

Wonderbread? Isn’t that crap???
That’s what I thought.
But NO, I was wrong. Very wrong.
Wondebread Italian bread is amazingly good.
We discovered this a few months ago and now it is only bread we buy other than an occasional specialty bread now and then.
It is marvelous for toast, sandwhiches and any other meal calling for a white bread.
Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the bread however, this time in my order was not received along with a couple of loaves of bread. I don’t know why, but for some reason, they just not come in my order. There has been a few times that my bread or a few items are not there don’t realize it until after I get in the house and undo my orders I feel a little unhappy about this because I never had it happen before all of a sudden these things are missing out of my orders don’t don’t know what’s going on however, I’ve been charged for things that I have not received.
